Laurent Ruquier leaves “We are live”: the poignant tribute of Léa Salamé for his farewell

Saturday evenings will never be the same again, for viewers connected to France 2. Laurent Ruquier, who presented the show We are not in bed for 14 years then rubbed shoulders with two seasons ofWe are live, has decided to leave the Saturday evening time slot. On June 4, 2022, he therefore hosted, with Léa Salamé, his very last number of the program before leaving the reins to his colleague, alone, at the start of the 2022 school year.

The emotion was palpable on the France 2 set, just before Laurent Ruquier said goodbye. “I would like to say, on behalf of a million French people, that you marked French Saturday evenings and that you marked the eraassured him Léa Salamé. There have been so many moments on TV, social debates, you have highlighted hundreds of artists who were not known. You also gave a chance to a lot of columnists who became politicians, I don’t know if that was the original plan. But it’s like that. Personally, I always enjoy working with you. I will miss you.
