Unmissable comedian on RTL since 2001, Laurent Gerra hosted the show One evening in Monaco December 18, 2021 on France 2. A great exclusivity of France Television, this unprecedented show hosted by the 53-year-old comedian was a real success with viewers. Many personalities were present during this show mixing musical interpretations and humorous sketches such as Pascal Obispo, Nolwenn Leroy, Florent Peyre, Eddy Mitchell or even Vincent Niclo, Dany Brillant or Les Bodin’s.
During the show, Laurent Gerra – who made himself known to the general public by performing sketches on various political figures and celebrities – imitated President Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister Jean Castex (who never forgets his hit song hydroalcoholic gel), the singerPatrick Bruel but also André Manoukian, Céline Dion, Nicolas Sarkozy and François Hollande. Very admiring of Jean-Paul Belmondo, he also paid tribute to him during the show.
The comedian – in a relationship with the journalist Christelle Bardet – and Celestine’s dad (born August 24, 2020) has a very busy schedule for the end of the year since he performs in the auditorium on Boulevard des Capucines until 2 January 2022. From January 4 to 9, he will continue his sketches at the Salle Pleyel. He will also have the honor of playing at L’Olympia from December 21 to 28 his new show called Without moderation.
The show One evening in Monaco ranked second among best audiences, garnering nearly 18.1% market share, or roughly 3.34 million viewers. The first place being occupied by the TV movie Waiting for a miracle on TF1 (24.1% of net sales, i.e. more than 4 million viewers). Finally in third place was the second edition of the show District Z who gathered 1.6 million viewers (i.e. 7.8% market share).
