Laurent Boutonnat in mourning: his mother Marielle has died

The musician, songwriter and producer Laurent Boutonnat is in mourning. The ex-companion of Mylène Farmer lost his mother, Marielle Boutonnat, who died on November 18.

The religious ceremony took place this Monday, November 29, 2021 at 10:30 am in the Church of Saint Pierre de Chaillot in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, as reported by the newspaper Le Figaro. Marielle Boutonnat was part of the Ministry of Social Affairs (now Ministry of Solidarity and Health) as an advisor to the “Life Education Program”. She chaired the Europe-Passion association and was secretary general of the Higher Council for Sexual Information, Birth Control and Family Education.

Laurent Boutonnat, songwriter, directed the films Giorgino and Jacquou the Crunchy (released in 1994 and 2007). He shared the life of Mylène Farmer, produced many clips and composed and wrote some of his hits like Libertine. Laurent Boutonnat has also worked on several albums by Mylène Farmer: Before the shadow, Stitch, Innamoramento, Anamorphosis... He also collaborated with Alizée, producing the clips for Me … Lolita, I’m not twenty and Speak softly.

In 2018, Mylène Farmer explained under what circumstances she met Laurent Boutonnat. To Anne-Claire Coudray, she confided: “I met Laurent Boutonnat when I left Cours Florent. OHe also had a common love for cinema, which is why we also made these very long clips, with this love for cinema, for images. “

Marielle Boutonnat leaves behind her husband Pierre-Louis Boutonnat, who headed the Red Cross and received the Legion of Honor and the National Order of Merit, as well as their five children Laurent, Caroline, Bénédicte, Stéphanie and Dominique Boutonnat , producer and president of the National Center for Cinema and Animated Image. Marielle Boutonnat was the happy grandmother of twelve grandchildren.
