Laurent Berger, the former secretary general of the CFDT, joins the Crédit Mutuel group

The former leader of the CFDT, Laurent Berger, is responsible for launching an institute at Crédit Mutuel focused on the protection of ecosystems and the fight against global warming.

The former secretary general of the CFDT Laurent Berger is joining Crédit Mutuel, the credit institution announced on Tuesday September 12 in a press release. From September 15, he will be responsible for launching an institute, called “L’Institut Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale”, focused on the protection of ecosystems and the fight against global warming.

The former leader of the CFDT, who handed over control of the reformist union on June 21 to Marylise Léon, “will have to lead the mission of prefiguring this institute, so that it will be operational in spring 2024”specifies the press release. “One of the priorities of the strategic plan will be to make Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale a leader in the climate and environmental revolution”indicates the group.
