It is in the small hamlet ofA torra, in the foundations of a 12th century medieval tower, under the family home of Laurence Mattei who was born Otta.
This adventure is the story of a common passion and of creating a unique product in Corsica: arranged rum.
For several months, Laurence and Sandra have been making here in Barrettali their products based on different flavors of the island such as citron and myrtle. They also work with other raw materials from here and elsewhere such as ginger, hazelnuts or even pineapple, from a rum from the West Indies.
Laurence and Sandra have chosen to market their arranged rums in the region’s delicatessens and offer their products in restaurants, before conquering the continent soon…
