Laura Smet inconsolable, she says “goodbye” to her “father” who had a crucial role in the trial of the inheritance of Johnny Hallyday

“The bar is an orphan. Hervé Temime has just left us. He was an immense lawyer. He marked an entire generation with his intelligence, his humanity and his talent. I think affectionately of his family and loved ones”. With these words, Éric Dupond-Moretti announced the disappearance of a figure in the middle of justice. Hervé Temime has defended big names and has also made himself known for numerous media trials.

He notably defended Bernard Tapie, Roman Polanski, or even Laura Smet. The latter was quick to take advantage of her Instagram account to share her pain. Hervé Temime is the one who accompanied her throughout her “fight” against her mother-in-law, Laeticia Hallyday, during the trial of Johnny Hallyday’s legacy. Much more than just her lawyer, Nathalie Baye’s daughter has lost a “friend” as she was able to deplore in a long and moving message posted on her Instagram account.

Hervé Temime, lawyer for Laura Smet and ex-companion of Valérie Lemercier

“Hervé my dear Hervé, I’m devastated, I can’t believe it”she began, obviously inconsolable at the announcement of this disappearance. “You so strong so bright. You have been with me like a protective father.Of extreme kindness and unparalleled professionalism. You had the grace, the talent and the humility of this profession”, she greeted. Subsequently, Laura Smet indicated that she was thinking of him precisely in the morning before we “call him for [lui] announce [sa] disappearance”. David Hallyday’s sister assures that the ex-companion of Valérie Lemercier will “miss him” and that his “heart broke” this Monday, April 10. She did not fail to have a thought for the family of the missing lawyer.

As our colleagues from Closer, Vanity Fair announced that the lawyer has long shared the life of Valérie Lemercier. It said at the time that Hervé Temime, “before each trial”was preparing his things the day before with “fetish clothes” who acted as “protection”. A man who had his habits and who will be missed in the profession, as of course by his loved ones…
