“We are privileged to be able to count on the support of the TD Bank Group,” said France Margaret Bélanger, president, sports and entertainment, Groupe CH, owner of Équipe Spectra, in a press release.

“We are very proud to be able to affirm our support for the music scene and to help artists, whatever their style, achieve their dreams,” said Sylvie Demers, President, Quebec Branch, Groupe Banque TD.

The name change, which recalls that of the former Métropolis which became MTelus in 2017, takes place at the same time as the launch of an initiative to support emerging artists. This project plans to give free access to the room to artists for the recording of a song and a video presentation. The initiative will roll out over the next few months. “This privileged support will help propel the musical careers of young artists and make their work known,” announces Studio TD.

The Quartier des Spectacles performance hall in Montreal will also continue to offer a program featuring up-and-coming artists, which will be detailed shortly.
