The Montreal performance hall L’Astral will now be called Le Studio TD, Équipe Spectra announced Thursday evening. This name change, resulting from a partnership with the TD Bank Group, will be accompanied by a new mentoring program that will help emerging artists propel their musical careers.
Conveniently located at the corner of Sainte-Catherine Street and Place des Festivals, Le Studio TD will keep its former vocation, that is to say, to host shows of all kinds. But with the Free Series project, from TD, emerging artists will benefit from a boost in making themselves known to the public. We plan to give them free access to the TD Studio to record a video clip on their life, professionally record a song, but also organize a concert.
