Blades (post-punk), Naeko (hip hop), Teklemek (globalmusic), Flupke (electro) And Yend (urban music-RNB) : these are the five Alsatian groups in the running to participate in the Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges.
The opportunity for these young artists to perform in public with despite everything, a good dose of stress since these auditions are the last before the final selection, the result of which will be announced on February 28th.
For this 2023 vintage of the Inouïs, nearly 3,500 young artists have submitted their applications in 26 territorial branches. Five national artistic advisors and more than 350 professionals were then responsible for listening, debating and selecting between 4 and 8 candidates in each territory.

The vocation of Spring
Revealing young talents is part of the DNA of Printemps de Bourges. Since its creation in 1977, the festival has offered “open stages” to unknown or singular artists. Later, they will become “The springboards of Spring” but also “The discoveries of Spring” and will be officially integrated into the programming of the editions.
In 1985, there were 1 to 3 antennas against 26 today (French and French-speaking territorial antennas with Quebec, Switzerland and Belgium included). Since the 2000s, four musical genres have mainly been represented: rock, song, electro and hip-hop.
A talent pool
Proof of the quality of the selections, many artists who are now recognized have taken their first steps at Les Inouïs: the Fauve collective in 2013, Christine & The Queens in 2012 or Eddy De Pretto in 2017, to name but a few. one.
Next step for the candidates, February 28 with the announcement of the final selection. Then the “real” scene. It will be from April 19 to 22 at 22 East / West in Bourges.
