Montreal police are looking for a man suspected of a hit-and-run. He reportedly left the scene of a road accident where a child was injured at the end of April.
The Collision Investigation Module of the Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) is seeking to identify the suspect and find witnesses in connection with the collision.
A child was injured during the event that occurred on April 28 in the borough of LaSalle.
Around 3 p.m., near the intersection of Réjane Street and Dollard Avenue, the victim was allegedly struck by a dark gray Mazda CX-3. The driver left the scene before the arrival of police officers, indicates the police force.
“The SPVM is trying to identify the passenger(s) of a white Honda Civic vehicle which was traveling near the event as well as the owner of a black Tesla which was parked on the side of Réjane Street near the street Marie-Claire,” specifies the SPVM in a press release.

According to authorities, the driver of the car involved is believed to be a dark-skinned man and could be between 20 and 35 years old. He would be around 1.70 m tall and have short, curly hair. He was driving a dark gray Mazda CX-3.
