A fire was declared in a business in LaSalle after an incendiary object was thrown overnight from Friday to Saturday.
The incident took place around 11:20 p.m., on avenue Lafleur, at the corner of rue Laurente. The fire, quickly brought under control by the firefighters, caused minor damage, in particular because of the smoke, explained Caroline Chevrefils, public relations officer for the Police Department of the City of Montreal.
The suspects fled and the investigation was taken over by the SPVM’s arson section.
