The show Large families, life in XXL continues to meet with great success on TF1. So much so that new candidates have joined the cast. Indeed, on February 2, viewers were able to get to know the Orgevals. This new tribe is made up of parents, Louisa (36 years old, vocational high school teacher) and Kevin (37 years old, paramedic at the SMUR), and their six children : Mano, 14 years old, Swann, 13 years old, Mia, 10 years old, Loucio, 8 years old, Oscar, 5 years old, and Noée, 17 months. The youngest was adopted in 2020 at the age of three months by Louise and Kevin and is a baby with trisomy 21.

By exposing her slightly different daily life with a disabled girl, Louise hopes to change the way people look. “We want to share our experience, our somewhat extraordinary life. It is important for us to show that life with a disability can be fun and fun. Because when we talk about our family and we say that the youngest is disabled, people often say to us: ‘Courage, it’s not easy’, ‘The poor’… But no, our life is nice. We want to show this positive side of our life and disability“, she entrusted to Leisure TV, adding to be serene for the rest: “We have enormous confidence in ourselves, in our ability to bounce back and find solutions. It won’t always be easy, but we’ll get there.

Louise Orgeval has always wanted to adopt a child. A desire that she instilled in her companion Kevin despite his hesitations. “It was much less obvious to him“, admits Louise who therefore first “had biological children” with him. “But after Oscar was born, we asked for approval. We absolutely wanted to adopt a child with a disability, since we already had a well-composed family.“, she explains again.

An even more complete family today which does not prevent Louise and Kevin from considering the idea of ​​having another child one day. “We sometimes have this desire to have a seventh, but for the moment our reason is stronger“, however qualified the mother of six children.
