On October 11, the cast of Large families, life in XXL grew with the arrival of the Romero. Coming from Bouches-du-Rhône, this new tribe is made up of parents Souad (36 years old) and Mario (38 years old) and their five children, Rachel, 20 years, Kezia, 15 years old, Mario, 12 years, Laina, 6 years old and finally Isaac, 4 and a half years old. But their families are actually much larger. Indeed, papa Mario is notably from the gypsy community within which he has many relatives. The recycling center guard is more particularly the cousin of a great music star, namely Mario Reyes.
This is the guitarist member of the famous group The Gipsy Kings by André Reyes (the son of founder José Rayes). “He is an artist and musician. He is a solo guitarist who plays in this large group. He is very very good. He’s been around the world. It is very simple. I consider him my big brother“, said Mario Romero during an interview for Leisure TV. With this “big brother”, he was even able to take part in the festivities, during their tour in Dubai last February. “He knew that I dreamed of going behind the scenes of a big concert. He invited me to Dubai to make this dream come true for their opera show. It was a great gift. I was delighted. He really pleased me“, he admitted with delight.
Remember that the Gipsy Kings are made up of two parent families: the Baliardo and the Reyes, respectively from Montpellier and Arles. Together, they cover world famous titles Bamboleo, Volare Where Djobi djoba and have been happening all over the world for many years.
