Large families: A clan with a tight budget forced to make sacrifices, explanations…

In this month of April 2022, new tribes have landed on the air of Large families, life in XXL. In front of the TF1 cameras, in addition to Amandine Pellissard and her eight children or even Nasser and Rofrane Bambara who are raising their quadruplets, the Servières clan arrives. Laëtitia, pregnant and on maternity leave, and her companion Sébastien, a construction worker, are at the head of a family of eight children: Maëva (17 years old), Maëlys (15 years old), Mandy (12 years old), Leny ( 10 years old), Manaëlle (8 years old), Melya (soon to be 6 years old), Milyana (3 and a half years old), and the youngest Léo (1 and a half years old).

The purpose of this participation in the hit show on the front page? “We want to prove that we are ordinary people and break the clichés around large families. But I recognize that it is often outdatedconfides the mother of the family. So I try to cook as many homemade dishes as possible so as not to spend too much.“And then, sometimes, Laëtitia and Sébastien have to make sacrifices…”There are little extras that we cannot afford all the time, such as snacks, which are quite expensive for us“, explains this mother.

The Servières have a shopping budget that differs from some other clans in Large families, life in XXL. Indeed, the Blois had indicated spending between 300 and 350 euros each week to feed the tribe made up of eleven people in total.
