Significant smoke on the road from Poitiers to Airvault, in the north of Deux-Sèvres this Monday, May 23. A fire broke out at the Bernier sawmill at a debarker located outside the building shortly before 8 p.m. The Poitiers road is closed to traffic, indicate the emergency services because of these fumes which are heading away from the town of Airvault. The rapid intervention of 34 firefighters helped to contain the flames quickly. The device has been streamlined. No injuries.
