The bodies of two octogenarians, a man and a woman, were found in a house in Epiphanie, in Lanaudière, Monday afternoon. The deaths are considered suspicious and an investigation by the Sûreté du Québec has been opened.
Emergency services discovered the bodies of the two people around 3:30 p.m. Monday afternoon. They were in a residence on rue Onulphe Peltier à l’Épiphanie, a street lined mainly with single-family homes.
The death of the two octogenarians, whose link has not yet been confirmed by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), is considered suspicious.
An SQ investigation was opened and crime scene technicians were called to the scene to analyze the scene, specifies Ève Brochu-Joubert, spokesperson for the SQ.
