The emergency services were notified of the situation on Sunday night, around 12:30 a.m. The firefighters then carried out searches during the night, which continued during the day.
“According to initial information, a 42-year-old man ventured onto Lac Rond aboard a small boat, without a life jacket. The boat was found overturned a short time later. Subsequently, research was started to find the man, ”said agent Nicolas Scholtus, spokesperson for the SQ.
