The body of a man injured by gunfire was found Thursday morning in Saint-Calixte, in the Lanaudière region.
Authorities located the body of a “seriously injured” individual around 5 a.m. on Montée Pinet, said Sûreté du Québec (SQ) public relations officer, agent Camille Savoie.
Authorities are unable to confirm whether it was a murder, she added.
According to our information, the man was killed by a firearm projectile. The age of the victim is not known at this time.
The SQ’s crimes against the person investigators are responsible for the case.
