James’ performance allowed the Lakers to snap a three-game losing streak while snapping Toronto’s winning streak to five.

She also ruined the best night for rookie Scottie Barnes of the Raptors, who scored 31 points and grabbed 17 rebounds.

Avery Bradley had a jump shot from 23 feet with 32.1 seconds remaining in overtime. He added two free throws to confirm the Lakers victory

Raptors guard Gary Trent Jr. scored a three-pointer with 25.7 seconds left in regulation.

But after James and Russell Westbrook both missed three-point attempts, Westbrook intercepted a pass from Precious Achiuwa and hit a three-point shot with 0.4 seconds on the clock, forcing the extra period.

Four other Raptors players had at least 10 points. Trent Jr. had 23 and Fred VanVleet added 20. Achiuwa and Pascal Siakam finished the game with 18 and 17 points, respectively.

James was a questionable case due to a sore left knee. However, he started the game, played for 42 minutes, led his team in points and grabbed nine rebounds.
