LAFC 2 – Galaxy 1 | A record 82,110 fans for an MLS game

(Pasadena) Riqui Puig scored a goal and an assist as the LA Galaxy beat Los Angeles Football Club 2-1.


The game was played in front of an MLS record crowd of 82,110 fans at the Rose Bowl. The duel broke the previous record of 74,479, set last year.

The eighth edition of the city’s rivalry was originally scheduled to be played on February 25.

Puig got an assist on Tyler Boyd’s goal in the 26the minute of play, before scoring the winning net in the 73e minute.

LAFC’s goal came in the last minute of the first half.
