Laeticia, Jade and Joy Hallyday: fatales in black for the opening of the Johnny exhibition!

After a first tour in Brussels last year, “Johnny Hallyday, the Exhibition” settles in Paris, Porte de Versailles, Pavilion 2.1, Paris (XV e), this December 22, 2023. And for the opening, Laeticia Hallyday arrived two days ago from Los Angeles with her daughters Jade (19 years old) and Joy (15 years old), as reported by our colleagues at Parisian.

Jade and Joy arrive all in black!

This December 21, 2023, in very femme fatale black looks, the 3 women received a host of personalities, in the decor made of souvenirs, costumes, furniture that belonged to the idol of young people. On site, we met Nadia Farès, Claude Lelouch, Richard Berry, Jean-Luc Reichmann, Jean-Claude Jitrois, Stéphane Delajoux and even Arnaud Ducret.

The traveling museum, which will remain in the capital until June 2024, tells “his story, from his childhood in Paris to Los Angeles” explains his widow. And added: “It’s a journey in his life, and he’s had a truly extraordinary life.”

And if we don’t expect to come across Laura Smet or David Hallyday – the latter felt that he saw there the exhibition of “the spoils of a burglary” – Laeticia Hallyday, she justifies her approach. She assures that her husband had validated the project during his lifetime. And to remember: “We both loved the exhibition on David Bowie because a lot of personal things were presented. It moved me a lot. It’s a real gift to the fans to open up his private life to them.”

“Not only show the artist but also the man”

In the windows, she shows what her man has kept throughout his life, and specifies: “It’s important to exhibit these personal documents because the idea was to show not only the artist but also the man that my husband was”.
