Johnny fans settled in California had a nice surprise Wednesday night! The world premiere of the original live docu-live My name is johnny was held on December 1, 2021 at the Regal Cinema in Los Angeles. Installed in the City of Angels, Laeticia Hallyday and her daughters, Jade and Joy (17 and 13 years old), were of course present. The widow did not fail to relay some extracts from this evening on social networks.
Mother and daughters were all dressed in black for the occasion. All smiles in her sequined jacket, Laeticia Hallyday appeared to the angels in the midst of her teenage girls. It is also in the company of her youngest Joy that the 46-year-old widow took the stage to briefly speak and thank the fans for their presence (see slideshow). On screen, the public was finally able to discover Pascal Duchêne’s film: a docu-live on Johnny’s North American tour in 2014, the Born Rocker Tour, passed through Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, Washington, Houston, New York … which includes the film of his legendary US tour on DVD
and The CD of the best live performances of his American tour.
In France, the film My name is johnny will be broadcast in December on Canal +. Fans will also be able to treat themselves to the deluxe collector’s box which will be launched on December 10 by Warner, the last record company of Taulier. An exit which occurs at the very moment when Laeticia Hallyday and her daughters are preparing to commemorate the 4 years of the death of the rocker, on December 5.
