On May 11, 2022, Laeticia Hallyday would not have missed Jalil Lespert’s birthday for anything in the world. On Instagram, the widow of Johnny Hallyday unveiled an adorable black and white shot where she appears in the arms of her lover who is celebrating his 46th birthday. A pair of black sunglasses on her nose, the pretty blonde appears (as always) smiling with the one who has shared her life for over a year. “Happy birthday. I like you” can we read in the caption of this publication where we can hear the title End of the Empire from Arcade Fire.
Thrilled since Jalil Lespert entered his life, Laeticia Hallyday had revealed the secrets of their love at first sight to journalists from the Parisian. A love relationship “unexpected and wonderful” for the mother of Jade and Joy who confided about the director: “He is infinitely benevolent and doesn’t try to project himself too quickly, which calms me down. We start living together in Los Angeles. But I have heard of marriage with him, there is no question of it. At least not at the moment. I am not ready. I don’t think I will ever remarry…“
At the head of a blended family with her two daughters and the children of Jalil Lespert (Kahina, born November 6, 2010 from her relationship with Sonia Rolland and Gena, born in 2004 and Aliocha, born in 2008, from a previous relationship with actress Bérangère Allaux), Laeticia Hallyday revealed that she was in the midst of “reconstruction“after the death of her late husband Johnny Hallyday.
“It’s a period of reconstruction, it allows me to relearn how to love differently. I am not trying to rebuild my life but to continue it. Jalil gave me a taste for life when I couldn’t be happy without betraying Johnny. And meeting another man was like cheating on him. So I needed to introduce Jalil to Johnny at the cemetery, because even though it might sound weird, I still talk to Johnny a lot…“ she confided.
As a reminder, the lovers have been in a relationship since the fall of 2020. They had come together in the context of a biopic produced on Johnny Hallyday by Jalil Lespert. With journalists from Paris MatchLaeticia Hallyday had confided that they had then started of a “very romantic epistolary relation, of Gustave Flaubert”.
