(Montreal) Two arson attacks targeting two businesses destroyed around thirty vehicles during the night from Monday to Tuesday in the borough of Lachine, in Montreal.
The two events took place about an hour apart and caused no injuries.
The first fire broke out around 12:40 a.m. at the intersection of rue Jean-Baptiste-Deschamps and 32e Ave. Firefighters found about twenty cars destroyed by flames at the back of a business.
The second fire started on Pacific Avenue around 2 a.m. in an industrial area. This time around ten vehicles were hit.
The scenes are currently protected to allow investigators to analyze the circumstances of these two fires. No arrests are reported at this time.
