(Montreal) A 44-year-old man was shot Friday night in the Lachine borough of Montreal.
The Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) was called to the scene around 10:55 p.m. after a series of gunshots on Louis-Paré Street, not far from 26e avenue.
The man was found outside with at least one projectile injury to his upper body. He was quickly taken to a hospital and recovered from his injuries during the day on Saturday.
The man will be met by SPVM investigators to establish the circumstances that led to these shootings. The investigation continues, with no arrests made to date. SPVM agents are going door to door in the area, hoping to find witnesses, and looking to see if any surveillance cameras filmed the scene.
