A 20-year-old driver succumbed to his injuries early Sunday morning after leaving the road in La Tuque, Mauricie.
The swerve occurred around 3:45 am on Fitzpatrick Road, at kilometer 3. The driver, in a slight curve, lost control of his car and ended his run in a rollover.
The man was taken back to a hospital, where he died a few hours later.
“Several hypotheses remain on the table as to the cause of the incident,” explained Audrey-Anne Bilodeau, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
No one else was involved in the incident.
