France Bleu Besançon is a partner of the Transju’, the mythical cross-country ski race which takes place on February 12 and 13 next to Mouthe.

La Transju, the unmissable cross-country ski event in the Jura, canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, is back. See you on Saturday February 12 and Sunday February 13, 2022 on the snowy slopes of the Jura near Mouthe, Les Rousses, Lamoura…

More than just a race, the “Transju’” is the event awaited by thousands of cross-country skiers. What we remember about the Transjurassienne, beyond the spectacle offered by the 4,000 skiers, is the 100% Nordic atmosphere that reigns along the course! A unique atmosphere, from the beginning to the end of the race!

So that everyone can take part in this great celebration, the organizers are offering timed races but also hiking type races without the classification, which allows you to experience La Transju’ under the same conditions but without the pressure of the result. Even if you are not a great sportsman, you can register. It’s up to you to choose your route according to your desire and your level, or simply stay on the edge of the slopes to encourage cross-country skiing enthusiasts.

The Transju 2022 program

Friday 11 and Saturday 12 February 2022 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. : Distribution of bibs and international Nordic fair in Les Rousses (exhibitors, sale and presentation of equipment, Worldloppet stand, Transju’ shop, Information point)

Saturday February 12: two races of 25 km and 50 km and a 20 km “Transju’experience” hike in “classic” style.

  • 10:30 a.m. Departure of the Transju’Classic 50 km – Les Rousses
  • 1:00 p.m. Departure of the Transju’Classic 25 km – Chapelle-des-Bois
  • 1:30 p.m. Departure of the Transju’Expérience Classic 20 km – Chapelle-des-Bois

Sunday February 13: three races of 25 km, 50 km and 70 km and a 20 km “Transju’experience” hike in free style “skating”.

  • 8:30 am Departure of the Transjurassienne skating 70 km – Lamoura
  • 10.30 a.m. Departure of the Transju’Marathon skating 50 km – Les Rousses
  • 1:00 p.m. Departure of the Transju’Skating 25 km – Chapelle-des-Bois
  • 1:30 p.m. Departure of the Transju’Expérience Skating 20 km – Chapelle-des-Bois

Sanitary measures

For cross-country skiers, compulsory vaccination pass for those aged 16 and over, wearing a mask before departure and after arrival. For visitors, access to the Nordic lounge with vaccination pass and wearing a mask in the indicated areas.
