The organizers of La Tranbaie have decided for the 3rd year in a row to cancel the running race between Saint Valéry and Le Crotoy. They announce it on their website transbaie.com. The event was to take place on June 19, but Denis Courtois, the creator of the race explains on France Blue Picardy :”that it is out of the question to launch something and organize a possible cancellation”.
Denis Courtois believes that the conditions are not met to prepare the event in good conditions with the authorities: “they already have too much work, we’re not going to bore them with that” . Denis Courtois also wants the organization of the Transbaie to remain a pleasure for the volunteers, which seems complicated with the health crisis.
