La Roche Vendée football snatches its qualification thanks to a crazy end to the match

La Roche Vendée Football, National 3 club, overturned the small thumb of the Coupe de France, this Sunday in the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France. Led for much of the second half by Montauban, Charles Devineau’s men scored twice late in the match (1-2).

The day after FC Nantes’ difficult qualification in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France, La Roche Vendée football, a National 3 club, also snatched its ticket for the next round of the “Old Lady”. Slightly dominated by Montauban, resident of Regional 2, lowest level represented at this stage, the Vendéens chased the score until the last minute of regulation time. Followed three crazy minutes during which the Vendeans first managed to equalize via a lobed header from Antonin Berjon (1-1 in the 89th) before Romain Billet scored, in force, the goal of victory (1-2 in the 90th + 2).
