The match on the 16th day of La Liga between Granada and Athletic Bilbao was stopped on Sunday December 10 following the death of an Andalusian supporter during the match which was being played at the Nuevo Los Carmenes stadium. The match was stopped after 18 minutes of play with the score 1-0 in favor of the Basques, with La Liga subsequently confirming that it would not resume “due to the sad death of a supporter”.
