La Force de Montréal signs contracts for five hockey players

The First Hockey Federation (PHF) and the Montreal Force organization have jointly announced the hiring of five players for the 2022-2023 season.

The list includes forwards Deziray De Sousa, Maude Gélinas and Laura Jardin as well as defenders Gabrielle De Serres and Sally Hoerr.

The Montreal team, which has started its training camp, now has 21 players in anticipation of the opening weekend of the season, November 5 and 6.

The Force’s 21-player roster includes 13 forwards, six defenders and two goaltenders. Twelve of them have professional experience.

The Montreal Force will play preseason games on October 23 against the Boston Pride, at the University of Vermont, and on October 29, when it will host the Toronto Six at the Guimond Sports Complex in Laval.

The Montreal team will begin its regular schedule on November 5 and 6 against the Buffalo Beauts and will play the first home game in its history on November 26 against the Metropolitan Riveters in Verdun. These same two teams will face off the next day at Aréna Raymond-Bourque in Montreal.
