La Fontaine Bridge closed towards Montreal during the weekend

Major obstacles will once again force the closure of the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine bridge between Longueuil and Montreal during the weekend.

The La Fontaine tunnel will be closed towards Montreal from Saturday 12:30 a.m. to Monday 5 a.m., implying the closure of highway 25 northbound between exit 90 and the entrance to Notre-Dame Est and Curatteau streets.

In Montreal, Notre-Dame Street East in a westerly direction, between Curatteau and De Boucherville streets, is expected to close as of Friday 10 p.m.

Highway 10 eastbound will be completely closed between Wellington Street and Carrie-Derick Street from Friday 11 p.m. to Saturday 8 a.m., Saturday 11 p.m. to Sunday noon and Sunday 11 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.

Westbound, A-10 will be closed between avenue Pierre-Dupuy and rue Wellington, from Friday 11 p.m. to Saturday 8 a.m.

In Terrebonne, highway 640 will be closed in both directions at the level of the highway 337 overpass, according to the Minister of Transport, which specifies that traffic will be in the opposite direction on the west road.

In downtown Montreal, reverse traffic is expected on René-Lévesque Boulevard between Guy and Mackey streets, while Guy Street will be completely closed between Saint-Antoine Street West and René-Lévesque Boulevard. The closure will be in effect from Friday 9 a.m. to Sunday 7 p.m.
