“There is no stopping the Civilization.” The Independent Commission on Incest and Sexual Violence Against Children (Ciivise) “will continue” despite the departure of its two main leaders, assured Aurore Bergé, the minister responsible for Equality between women and men, Sunday February 11 on Radio J.
“Yes it will continue”, declared Aurore Bergé, who is however not the minister on whom the Civilization depends. This falls within the scope of the portfolio of Catherine Vautrin, Minister of Health and Solidarity, and her delegate minister Sarah El Haïry, responsible for Children.
Aurore Bergé greeted the “determining role”THE “remarkable work” and the“sincere commitment” of Edouard Durand, the media children’s judge who chaired the Ciivise before being removed by the government from its new version.
A meeting expected “in the coming weeks”
The commission resumed its work on Monday, but the filing of a complaint for “sexual assault” for gynecological violence against its new vice-president, doctor Caroline Rey-Salmon, had pushed the latter to “totally withdrawn” from Wednesday. The next day, it was the new president of Ciivise, Sébastien Boueilh, who resigned, considering himself the victim of “slander and personal attacks”.
The Ministry of Health had stated that it wanted to bring together “in the coming weeks, stakeholders in the sector will study the follow-up to be given to the commission”.
