Son of a winegrower, Joan BRISSON has always had a passion for botany. It was in 1998, during a stay in Anduze, that he discovered the magical world of bamboo.
Created in 1999 in Matha (15 km from Cognac), the bamboo grove invites you to discover, in a magnificent setting, more than 60 varieties of collectible bamboorare and tropical plants.
And in particular, the rarest Japanese bamboo: the Kikko or the turtle shell. At the Brisson bamboo grove, you will be offered another way to visit a botanical park with rare plants to touch, smell and taste.
Your 5 senses will be on alert. You will discover for about 1h30 medicinal, aphrodisiac, shamanic plants and even exotic vegetables. Along the paths, you will also come across the inhabitants of this large garden such as ducksof the cranes and asian pheasants.
