Motorists will have to plan their trips this weekend in the Montreal region, warns Mobility Montreal. Major obstacles will arise in the Autoroute 25 sector in the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel, as well as on the Pie-IX bridge linking Montreal and Laval.
Autoroute 25 southbound will be completely closed between exit 4 and the entrance to rue de l’Île-Charron, including the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel, from Friday 9:30 pm to Saturday 6 am. Same scenario from Saturday 10:30 p.m. to Sunday 7 a.m., as well as from Sunday 9:30 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m. By default, the entrances on rue Sherbrooke, avenue Souligny and those on rue Tellier and rue des Futailles will be closed 30 minutes before the scheduled closing time for highway 25.

Northbound, two out of three lanes will be closed on Autoroute 25 in the Louis ‑ Hippolyte ‑ La Fontaine tunnel, from Friday 10:30 pm to Saturday 7:30 am. Only one lane will also be open from Saturday 10:30 pm to Sunday 8 30 a.m. and Sunday 10 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.
As for the Pie-IX bridge, it will be closed in both directions, from Friday 10 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m. By default, the ramps leading from Highway 440 eastbound and westbound to Highway 125 southbound will be closed, starting at 9:30 p.m. Friday. Same scenario for the entrance to boulevard Saint-Martin for route 125 southbound and the entrances to boulevards Henri-Bourassa and de la Concorde for route 125 northbound.
