In an interview with the magazine “Envoyé Spécial”, Kylian Mbappé spoke about his celebrity and everything that entails when you are a world-famous star. “I lost the spontaneity of the human being”regrets the PSG striker, in an extract from an interview which will be broadcast Thursday January 18 on France 2.
The 25-year-old captain of the French team talks about his life, where “it’s all about organization”and says he dreams of simple things, like going to get a baguette at the bakery. “I would pay so much to do this kind of thing, which is like nothing to most people”says the footballer, who however assures not to have “of regrets”. “It’s an inevitability, an observation.” Is it heavy? Kylian Mbappé says that “now no, it’s everyday life, but it was.”
If he could change his appearance for 48 hours, as Elise Lucet suggested to him in the interview, the French striker would spend this moment “out” and would go “eat at a brasserie, party incognito”. While waiting, one day, to be able to do simple things, Kylian Mbappé will still be at the heart of all the discussions in the coming months. At the end of his contract in June and already free to commit wherever he wants, Kylian Mbappé admitted on Wednesday to not having “made a decision regarding [s]we future”, between a new extension at PSG or a transfer to another club.
