Kylian Mbappé and his former club, Paris Saint-Germain, have an appointment on Wednesday, September 11, before the legal committee of the French Football League (LFP), the Sports management of Radio France learned on Tuesday from a source close to the case, confirming information from L’Équipe. In August, Kylian Mbappé had seized the LFP and UEFA through the French Football Federation (FFF) for more than 55 million euros in salaries and bonuses “unpaid” by PSG.
The new Real Madrid striker, who left PSG on a free this summer, is demanding a little over €55 million gross in salaries for April, May and June, as well as bonuses he should have received with Paris Saint-Germain. A formal notice was initially sent to Paris Saint-Germain, but negotiations between the two parties did not progress, with the club considering that commitments had been made between the player and the club. During the month of August, two other letters were sent: the first, on 8 August, to the LFP legal committee; another, on 13 August to the FFF to inform UEFA.
Contacted in August, Paris Saint-Germain did not wish to “make no comment on the ongoing discussions which have been taking place constructively for many months”considering that he “continue to respectfully engage on the subject“.
