It will not ultimately be Mathieu Darche in Chicago. According to several media, the Blackhawks have hired Kyle Davidson as general manager.

Davidson had served as interim chief executive since October 2021. He succeeded Stan Bowman, who left the organization in the wake of the Kyle Beach case.
The official announcement would be made on Tuesday, according to journalist Frank Seravalli, of Daily Faceoff.
Kyle Davidson is 33 years old. The Sudbury, Ont., native has been with the Blackhawks since the 2010-11 season. He had been hired at the time as a video analyst in the recruitment department.
The Windy City organization publicly tracked candidates interviewed for the job. Mathieu Darche, in particular, was one of the potential candidates until very recently.
