The National Hockey League Players Association will hold a meeting involving its leaders and representatives of 32 teams on Monday to discuss the Kyle Beach issue on Monday, Renaud Lavoie reported on Saturday.

After accusing video coach Brad Aldrich of sexual assault in 2010, Kyle Beach received no support from his team, the Chicago Blackhawks. Ten years later, a lawsuit at the expense of the organization brought the situation to light, and an independent investigation forced general manager Stan Bowman and head coach Joel Quenneville – who was until recently with the Florida Panthers – to step down.

However, Beach, which came out of anonymity on Wednesday, also targeted Donald Fehr, the director of the NHLPA. The former player said Fehr was made aware of the situation, and like the Blackhawks, he failed to take action.

For now, it is impossible to know whether Fehr’s future as the head of the union is in danger.
