Kiev town hall announced on Friday April 26 the emergency evacuation of two hospitals in the Ukrainian capital, including a pediatric establishment, for fear of Russian strikes. “The city begins to urgently evacuate two hospitals, including a children’s hospital, (…) because a video is widely shared in online media announcing a de facto enemy attack on these medical facilities”announced the town hall on Telegram.
The video in question claims that two hospitals located on Bogatyrska Street, on the northern outskirts of kyiv, house soldiers who “hide behind sick children”. “It is an absolute lie and a provocation from the enemy, who is trying to use it to hit the social infrastructure of the capital”accused the kyiv town hall, ensuring that it was doing everything possible “to move patients and doctors to other medical establishments”.
Furthermore, the Russian army claimed on Friday to have struck a train transporting Western weapons in the Ukrainian region of Donetsk, in eastern Ukraine. This announcement comes after a series of strikes on Ukraine’s railways. “A train with Western weapons and military equipment was hit near the town of Oudatchné”declared the Russian Defense Ministry, without further details on the result of this strike.
