In the trailer, we see a young Sergei Kravinoff left for dead by his father after his son didn’t have the courage to kill the lion they were hunting. However, a drop of the cat’s blood fell into one of the boy’s wounds, which subsequently developed superhuman powers.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Bullet Train, Kick-Ass) plays the older Sergei, who seems out to kill anyone who gets in his way in his quest for revenge against his father.
Kraven, an enemy of Spider-Man in the comics, is an antihero in JC Chandor’s film (Triple Frontiers, A Most Violent Year). For some years, Sony Pictures studios have been developing a universe of characters related to Spider-Man (SSU), which so far includes the films Venom And Morbius.
Rhino and Chameleon, two other villains from the comics of Spidey, would also be part of the narrative of Kraven The Hunter.
