Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are now married, a year after they met. The two lovebirds said “yes” to each other in a chapel in Las Vegas and the least we can say is that they do not skimp on the details… Since, in fact, the couple would have had a request very special for the ceremony, a small condition which, if it had not been fulfilled, could have derailed the marriage!
Page Six reveal that the 42-year-old Kim Kardashian’s big sister and the 46-year-old musician absolutely wanted the ceremony to be held by a fake Elvis Presley (as is tradition for Vegas weddings). He is the owner of the One Love Wedding Chapel, Marty Frierson who had to scramble to find an impersonator of the ’50s star at the last minute.
The latter returned to this crazy night when he received a call around half past midnight after the Grammy Awards evening at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. “We’ve got a celebrity here for the Grammys who wants to make sure you’re open. We looked at your reviews. You are a five star chapel so we know that is good. But can you find us an Elvis?” remembered hearing Marty Fierson on the phone before he answered: “CIt’s a bit late but I’ll see what I can do.“The manager said Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker were adamant about the presence of a fake Elvis Presley and wanted confirmation before booking the venue.”I made a few calls“then said Marty Fierson, who also said he had a list of fake Elvis on hand. All’s well that ends well: the ceremony was thus able to take place around 1:30 a.m. to formalize the marriage of the two stars, who presented in their Grammy Awards attire and two bouquets of roses!
