Korine Côté will host the next Les Olivier gala

Comedian Korine Côté will be the next host of the Les Olivier gala next March.


Côté succeeds the duo Cathy Gauthier and Eve Côté who were hostesses of the ceremony earlier this year.

It is once again ICI TÉLÉ which will broadcast the gala on March 23, 2025.

Korine Côté is a regular at the comedy gala; she won the Olivier for Issue of the Year in 2013 and 2023 and participated in writing the texts for the ceremony in 2021 and 2022.

In a press release, the main interested party said she was honored by this new role, she who claims to have made her first foray into the gala in 2005 as a “seat filler” while she was studying at the school of humor.

Since the start of her career, Côté has distinguished herself on the radio, but also in her solo shows, My Show and Close-up.

“Korine is a sure bet, because in addition to having proven herself in hosting major events, she contributed greatly to the writing of the texts for the Les Olivier Gala in 2021 and 2022,” underlined the general director. of the Association of Professionals in the Humor Industry (APIH), Joanne Pouliot.

Script editor Sébastien Mathieu, as well as authors Gabrielle Caron and Simon Laroche, will also participate in the texts.

The 26e edition of the gala will be broadcast on March 23 on ICI TÉLÉ and ICI TOU.TV.
