Knife attacks kill 10, injure 15 in Saskatchewan

Ten people have been killed and 15 others injured in stabbings in Saskatchewan, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) said on Sunday. The assaults occurred on James Smith Cree Nation territory and in the village of Weldon, northeast of Saskatoon.

“Initial information suggests that victims are being attacked at random,” said the Saskatchewan RCMP on Twitter in the early afternoon. “We believe that some victims were targeted by the suspects, and others were randomly attacked,” Saskatchewan RCMP Commander Rhonda Blackmore said at a press conference.

The suspects, Damien Sanderson and Myles Sanderson, are still at large. Damien is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Myles is 6-foot-1 and weighs 240 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes.
