(Melbourne) Former Australian Open finalist Marin Cilic has withdrawn from the next edition of the tournament with a knee injury.
The 34-year-old Cilic reached the final of the 2018 edition, losing to Roger Federer.
Cilic kicked off his season at the Maharashtra Open in India. He had to withdraw before his quarter-final because of this injury, suffered in training.
It must have been the 17e seeded in the Melbourne tournament.
