Princess Kate reveals she has cancer. In a short video message, Princess Kate announced that she had been diagnosed with cancer. “In January, I underwent a major abdominal operation in London. At the time, it was thought that my condition was not cancerous”explained the 42-year-old princess in a video, where she appeared looking distressed. “However, tests carried out after the operation revealed that cancer had been present”she continued, speaking of a “huge shock”. She did not specify the nature of this cancer.
“Preventive chemotherapy” started. “My medical team therefore advised me to undergo preventive chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of this treatment”, added the Princess of Wales in her video message. However, she assured that she would “GOOD”. “I gain strength every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal.”she explains.
International reactions after this announcement.
