Death of a schoolboy in Viry-Châtillon: killed for having exchanged with a girl?

Relatives of several implicated in Shamseddine’s death arrive this Sunday, April 7 at the judicial court of Évry (Essonne). A few minutes later, the press release comes: two brothers, already convicted by the courts in the past and two of their acquaintances are presented to an investigating judge, a judicial investigation is opened against them for murder. They are suspected of having struck the victim several times.
“Assassination” or “fatal blows”?
The lawyer for one of them specifies that his client recognizes the facts, but refutes the term assassination. “It is not at all an assassination, it is probably fatal blows, that is to say intentional violence leading to death without the intention of causing it”, according to the lawyer. The fifteen-year-old minor who is the sister of two of the suspects was also presented to an investigating judge.
It was after a discussion between her and Shamseddine that the affair began, the two big brothers not being able to stand that their discussions focused on sexuality. According to the prosecutor, Shamseddine continued to discuss with her. The two brothers, accompanied by their acquaintances, would have met him when he left college. The young man died the next day of head trauma. A white march will be organized soon by his family to pay tribute to him.
