On the evening of Tuesday March 1, Ukrainian channels can no longer broadcast their programs and inform the population. The TV tower was destroyed in Kyiv (Ukraine). This is undoubtedly the first stage of a broader offensive announced by the Russians. The inhabitants of the capital organize themselves so that their city does not grave in the hands of the Russians.
Kiev TV Tower (Ukraine) was targeted by Russian strikes on the afternoon of Tuesday 1 March. He it was a strategic site. The attack killed at least five people, and the programs are interrupted. Russia had warned civilians to move away from strategic communication sites. The people of Kiev know they are on borrowed time. In the city center, they install dams and barricades.
A billboard on the streets of Kiev is self-explanatory. Intended for Russian troops, it reads: “Don’t become a murderer, go away, stay human”. AT 25 km from the capital, on 65km long, a Russian military convoy stretches out. The Russian offensive intensifies and the fighting draws closer. In Kiev hospital, the wounded are pouring in. No one is spared. To the west of the town, a group is digging trenches to prepare for resistance.
