According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the star’s wife Yellowstone, Christine Baumgartner, who is estranged from him, has escalated their divorce battle over proposed child support. They have three children: Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13.

The outlet reports that Kevin Costner offered his future ex-wife to pay him $51,940 a month in child support, but his latest request called the amount “completely inappropriate.”

In her filing, Christine Baumgartner suggests that Kevin Costner expects their children to live well below their means when they are with their mother.

She also claimed the actor spent $240,000 a month on himself and the kids when they were with him, and made $65,000 a month just by renting out one of his houses.

Christine Baumgartner insists she couldn’t sustain the life the children are used to with the child support offered by the actor, as the children were used to living at the beach and in a gated community – which she said she couldn’t afford $51,940 a month.

Additionally, she says the children were used to having helpers and helpers with shopping, cleaning and cooking.

Two weeks ago, Christine Baumgartner asked Kevin Costner to pay her child support of $248,000 a month.

Earlier this week, a judge ordered the handbag designer to vacate their Santa Barbara home, which the comedian legally owns, by July 31 under the terms of their prenuptial agreement.

The couple married in 2004 and Christine Baumgartner filed for divorce on May 1.
