It’s already time to dream about summer. Eight months before the next Osheaga festival, evenko announced the three headliners for Montreal’s flagship event.
Kendrick Lamar fans who despaired that his tour The Big Steppers bypassed Montreal now know that he was rather courted to be the star of Sunday August 6th. A first passage in the metropolis in eight years for the rapper who had been in the 2015 edition of Osheaga.
Another mystery solved: Billie Eilish, whose concert scheduled at the Bell Center last February had simply been canceled in the context of the pandemic, will finally bring her fans to Parc Jean-Drapeau on Saturday August 5. This will be the first time we can hear his songs from the album. Happy Than Ever resonate here, its last stop dating back to 2019 at Place Bell, in Laval.
Australian electro trio RÜFÜS DU SOL, seen here at Parc Jean-Drapeau last summer, obviously haven’t exhausted their fan base, as they will be headlining the first night from Osheaga.
Tickets for the three-day pass go on sale December 16 at 10 a.m.
